David Jawed Wared

The artist, author and poet David Jawed Wared, who lives in Bonn, has been living and working in Germany since the mid-1980's. For many years, alongside his studies and doctorate, he worked as a consulter, translator and freelance journalist for politics as well as art and design. The artist can look back on a creative level of work in modern art in this country and abroad with numerous exhibitions. Originally, he was an outstanding discovery - awarded a number of prizes - on the occasion of a talent competition.  Amongst other things, he was awarded a one-year scholarship to support his further development in creation of art, which then speedily and  consistently continued. Alongside poetic, artistic, musical and belief work, he writes and draws stories for children with considerable commitment and also ones for the world of adults, which have an acknowledging echo in the enthusiastic group of their readers. With this art book, his creativity reaches a stage in which he turns to a new direction of style, which he himself characterises as "Metaphysical Art". With it, he dedicates himself, amongst other things, to dimensions which are no longer tangible, are unreal and extraterrestrial. But also the fields which mark our lives –  GOD – love – freedom – tolerance – respect – war – are further elements of his artistic messages. They are overshadowed by the fervent wish and the vision that all children and those who have left youth can develop in a world of harmony, making being together in responsibility, joy and happiness possible.  So his request is connected with the possibility of developing with wisdom and bliss accessible for every person in unity with himself and GOD.
